  • Aidan O'Brien's superstar stayer Kyprios will take on a maximum of eight rivals in the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup Stakes after the latest confirmation stage for the opening day of Glorious Goodwood. Last month's Royal Ascot Gold Cup hero is a general 8/11 shot to add another top-level victory to his CV, with stablemates Continuous and Point Lonsdale also in contention alongside John and Thady Gosden's Sweet William.
  • Ralph Beckett is hoping for some ease in the ground ahead of Bluestocking's potential tilt at the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes at Ascot on Saturday. The Juddmonte-owned four-year-old was last seen getting the better of Emily Upjohn in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh last month.
  • Trainers John and Thady Gosden have revealed they will look at supplementing Emily Upjohn for the Group 1 Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood next week. The recent Pretty Polly Stakes runner-up could be set to take on stablemate Inspiral, who will be bidding to bounce back from a disappointing effort in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
  • The Racing League 2024 kicks off at Yarmouth tomorrow evening. The Norfolk venue will host a seven-race card, with teams Wales & The West, Ireland, London & The South, The East, The North, Scotland and Yorkshire ready to do battle over the coming months.
  • Charlie Appleby is ready to unleash Godolphin's €2.3 million Arqana Breeze-Up purchase Ruling Court at Sandown tomorrow. The son of Justify will bid to land the often-informative maiden which has been won in the past by the likes of 2000 Guineas hero Kameko and the talented Nostrum.
  • Trainer Francis Graffard announced today that Christophe Soumillon will partner his King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes hopeful Goliath at Ascot on Saturday. The Belgium-born jockey will be riding the horse for the first time as the pair bid to defy unfancied odds of 33/1.
