RACE 1

PRODIGAL – Wide without cover due to wide gate, absolutely zero luck throughout. Can atone here and the rise to 1600m looks ideal.

MAGNIFICENT GOLD – Top weight but has been racing well of late. Deserves plenty of respect here once again after going down a nose last start in a similar bout.

LAKSANA – Winner by a nose last time out to the races over 2000m. The drop back to the mile isn't ideal as with him, the more ground the better but he is racing in great form and cannot be left out of exotic plays.

DIAMOND MINE – Mixes form but if he can find himself up on speed or just off the pace, with his light weight he should be in it a long way.

RACE 2

MAJOR KING – Winner of two trials in Singapore to date, this race will give us a great guide on where this son of Per Incanto is at.

STAR VICTORY – Has had four trials in preparation for debut run in Singapore. A well-bred son of Vancouver owned by PSM Racing Stable who looks to have plenty of upside.

THE STAR – Two runs to date have been solid. Looks to have ability and compared to many other in this race, has the race day experience on its side as a small advantage.

PATHFINDER – A son of Dalghar who has had three trials to date in Singapore. Won the last one in a time of 61.71 by 0.3 lengths.

RACE 3

WEBSTER – Finally drops down to class 4 and caught the eye at the trials in between runs. Has to the lug the 59 but seems to be well and must be respected in this company.

HARRY DREAM – Bumped early last start and taken out of contention. Still made up plenty of late ground in the straight to run fourth beaten 2.8 lengths. Big place chance.

STENMARK – Despite all his quirks, he showed us last start what he can do when everything goes right. Whether they can do it all again this weekend with no issues, that's the big question. He is worth including just in case.

INTREPID – Solid performance with no weight last start. This looks a tougher race but gets similar weight and is a two-time turf winner so far in her career.

RACE 4

GOOD CATCH – Lame off hind last start so hard excuses. Despite the fact this horse mixes his form, in a race that lacks depth, a solid performance from him would see him winning here. Might be worth taking a chance on him to perform this weekend.

DESPACITO – Last run, a poor getaway saw this son of Falkirk's race end right as it begun. Made it virtually impossible for him to win. Hoping to a see a clean get away this weekend. He is right in this if he can jump with them.

ONE WAY TICKET – Another Jason Lim runner in the race who mixes his form. Ran second two starts ago being no better than five wide the whole way, can run a good one now and then.

WHAT YOU LIKE – Trackwork during the week was solid from this eight year old. Draws well but does get a big weight, even with the claim of rider Troy See.

RACE 5

SILKARDO – Flashed late in usual fashion to be beaten a nose. Not far away from winning one and drops to non-winners company for this start.

LIM'S PUNCAK JAYA – Has to spot Silkardo quite a few kilograms but on recent runs, he should be in it a long way. Has trialed well in between runs to prepare for this.

MELODY FAIR – Closed off well with Silkardo last start to run fourth beaten less than length. Knocking on the door as well to win one, one of the hopes.

NINEONEONE – Was keen throughout the run and cast a plate last start when finishing in behind Flashfast. Has been racing well in Restricted Maiden company and wouldn't shock taking this out.

RACE 6

HEADHUNTER – Incredible on speed performance last start doing it at both ends and winning well. Can't see why it cannot do it all over again.

HYDE PARK – A 1000m class four division two looks the right race for him to strike with no weight. Four-time track and distance winner, should be in the finish with any luck.

WATER ROCKET – Was checked and hung badly at the turn last start. Should be on speed so the drop back to 1000m is not the worst thing this weekend.

BASILISK – Strong run last start into third beaten just under a length. Was wide throughout cover and had no favors. Could figure with some more luck in running.

RACE 7

WILD BEE – Was slow away as per normal but really found late in the race last start. Seems to have found suitable company to be competitive in class 5 and looks a main player here this weekend.

GOLDEN DASH – Narrowly denied by Loving Babe last time to the races. Laid out in the straight under pressure which ultimately cost it the race. Still a strong performance and can atone.

SUPER INCREDIBLE – Beaten 2.6 lengths last start despite racing keen for a good chunk of the race. Top three player for sure with luck in running.

GRAND FIGHTER – Likely leader in the field coming off a strong placing last start. If he doesn't have to do much work early, he could still be there when the whips are cracking.

RACE 8

BORN TO WIN – Last start closed off super in driving rain to run a strong third behind Cheval Blanc and Axel who won his next start. Light weight again, only thing he will rely on is a hot tempo.

ON LINE – Placed in his first run back in class 4. Spots a few of these some weight but he showed us last start a win at this grade isn't far off.

LIM'S DREAMWALKER – After the maiden win two starts ago which was good on the clock, the question mark was how he was going to progress through that run. He surprised everyone running second behind Relentless and on that run, he looks in the mix of chances this weekend.

RUSSIAN TWIST – Gets in with a low weight coming off a third placing to Relentless beaten 2.5 lengths. Strong enough form to make an impression here.

RACE 9

OLYMPIA – Wide without cover throughout last start getting zero luck in transit. Racing well of late and looks a good chance to bounce back.

LIM'S SHOT – No weight on its back this weekend after being narrowly denied last start. Yet to break through over 1000m in its career but has placed quite a few times.

MAGNIFIQUE – Looks the speed influence and the one they will be chasing. Crowded at the turn last start and didn't handle it well. Hopefully gets clear running this weekend in its third run back in class 5.

SHANGHAI STAR – Has to lug a big weight but was good to the line last start behind Silent Is Gold in a cracking novice. Respect.

RACE 10

TRUMPY – Arguably the run of the race in the Kranji Mile. Drops 7 kg's form last start, at the weights gets in here incredibly well against similar opposition. Only question mark is tempo and whether they will go fast enough in front for him to be running on late.

HARD TOO THINK – Showed that races over a mile would suit him better however, this is a much easier race than what he contested in the G1 with no proven WFA horse in the field.

MR MALEK – Closed off super well off a hot speed. Look for him to be chiming in late with Trumpy if he gets enough early pace.

SACRED CROIX – Awesome performance in the Kranji Mile, flying home late into second. Like Trumpy, he will need a hot tempo, but the last start run must be respected regardless.

RACE 11

SPEEDY MISSILE – Narrowly beaten a half length despite being held up at the top of the straight. Strong performance which should hold it in good stead against this field on the weekend.

FROM THE NAVY – Another horse here coming in off a strong second last time to the races. Beaten a half length by Blazing Kid in a race where they ran solid time for the grade, must respect.

SUN RECTITUDE – Solid last start winner heading up in grade. Strikes a division two field in class 4 but will need to step up here to win.

SACRED JUDGEMENT – Looks a likely pace influence in the field and could be the horse they are chasing at the corner. Has been able to run sharp early sectionals recently and still find a kick late. A must include.

RACE 12

HAPPY FRIDAY – Boasts a nice record track and distance having never missed the top three (4:1-1-2). Despite being up in class 4, this looks a nice race for him on the weekend to score.

FIRST BOWL – 1000m looks a bit on the short side for him this weekend but he has done it in the past holding a 50% win strike rate track and distance. Don't leave out.

WAWASAN – This lightly framed horse finally got the win he deserved last start. Steps up here to class 4 and strikes his pet distance once again. This will be much tougher, but we must respect winning form.

LORD JUSTICE – Returns from long spell having one a class 5 last September. Looks a nice starting point for this campaign, place chance.
