RACE 1

FIREWORKS – Drops back in class after scoring back in February in the same grade over the same distance. Looks well placed from our leading stable.

PRODIGAL – Faces the starter for the first time in this grade. Has been quite disappointing since his maiden win nearly twelve months ago. Big watch and looks a danger.

SUMMER WIND – Has been a runner up in four of his last five starts in this grade. Should show plenty of gate speed and a win isn't far away.

SUPERLATIVE – Drops back in grade and gets our leading jockey in the saddle. His last win came at the mile back in November so could attract plenty of support.

RACE 2

RELENTLESS – Trialed well recently after running a drum last start. Third up and should be ready to fire here, Nunes sticks.

SONG OF NATURE – Back to the mile which should be a plus. Last start placing doesn't do the run justice, was only beaten two lengths. Back to suitable race here.

LANKARAN – Trackwork during the week has been eye catching and looks to be ticking over well. Third up here coming off two luckless runs with no clear running and plenty of small collisions.

SUN POWER – Couldn't get in last start, put a line through it. Pass mark in recent trial but should be kept safe in race that has fallen away.

RACE 3

SEE YAH – Didn't handle the one-week backup last start over a shorter distance. Has had a few weeks to recover and proven over this distance with a win to his name two runs ago.

LIM'S PRIDE – Three of his five career victories have come over this distance. Meets one of the weaker fields he has encountered for some time. Watch any market moves.

AUSPICIOUS DAY – Finished runner up behind See Yah over this distance last month. Gets in well at the weights and should be finding the lead early.

I'M A CONQUEROR – Was a winner two runs ago in close three-way finish. That form should hold up in this division and a surprise run could be on the cards.

RACE 4

KASSAB – Returned with an impressive victory a few weeks back on the Polytrack over 1000m. Clocked a slick 58.88 and can go on with it.

BLAZING KID – Produced a tough win up the inside fence last start to fight back and get the win. Rises in weight but still gets in well for a stable who is having a strong season.

EVEREST – Classy USA bred entire who has had three trials leading into this race. Has shown in recent runs he has ability mixed with some disappointing runs. Watch for any market support first up.

BE YOU – Should be up on the speed and and looking a danger when they turn for the judge. Lacks that sharp sprint but can sustain a run and can fill the multiples.

RACE 5

TANGIBLE – Back onto the turf is big plus for this son of Trippi. Look on paper to be one of the better weighted runners in this field. Place chance.

STRONG N BEST – Continues to raise the bar and one must respect the winning form. A must include in the numbers.

SO HI CLASS – Ran incredibly well last start for a horse who had no luck in running. Should be at peak fitness for this race, a must include in exotics.

PENNYWISE – Doesn't have the turf resume that some of these others do however, the trackwork from him during the week has been outstanding leading into this weekend, he seems well.

RACE 6

ALQANTUR – Classy galloper is two from two in his short career. He has an electric turn of foot at the finish. Faces older and more experienced company but has plenty of ability.

SPEEDY MISSILE – Racing very well this preparation. Last start was huge when coming from well back in the field and clocking a slick final 400 metres. Form has been strong since that race.

ILLUSTRIOUS – He is proven on the Polytrack as a speedy prospect. Comes onto the turf for the fourth time and from our leading stable must be in contention.

AFTERMATH – Caught the eye behind From The Navy last start where the saddle slipped during the race. Had the inside run and saved ground. Can add value to the multiples.

RACE 7

STARLIGHT – Undefeated track and distance and returns here having not run since January. Looks one of the main players.

GRAND KOONTA – Another horse showing off an outstanding track and distance resume with three wins and a second from four starts. Has been working his way towards another win running a hole his last two starts.

KHARISMA – Carries top weight here once again but is afforded the weight because he has been an exciting horse over the last 18 months. His last two starts have been a tad disappointing, but he could certainly atone here with the right run. Keep safe.

SACRED GIFT – One of the more consistent horses in the field who has been racing incredibly well of late. Last start got caught wide, had excuses and still ran in the top three. Recent form cannot go unnoticed.

RACE 8

EAGLE EYE – Third up here and has been a feature day winner in the past. Hakim returns to the saddle for this run and looks one of the major hopes in an open affair.

SHANG CHI – Smart run last start finishing third behind No More Delay in a classy Novice field. Stepping out to 1400m at the right time in its preparation. No questions on its fitness whatsoever.

RICVELO – Threw a shoe and had a pretty rough time of it last start. Drop back from a mile to 1400m and looks the likely leader once again in this field.

SACRED JUDGEMENT – Should be up on speed joining Ricvelo for company. Has been running very consistently of late and for that reason, is a must include for trio's and quartets. Akmazani provides this son of So You Think weight relief yet again.

RACE 9

GOLDEN MONKEY – Produced a demolition job when winning in maiden company last start. Should show plenty of speed and looks a big chance to go back-to-back.

SURREY HILLS – Won his maiden in great order on the Polytrack back in April. Showed plenty of speed and has since trialed strongly to show he has trained on.

BINGO MASTER – Broke his maiden over 1400m last start and drops back in distance. This is much tougher but winning form usually carries on in this grade.

SILENT IS GOLD – Faced the starter against older horses and winning from pillar to post. Won't be as easy to find the front as last start with plenty of speed in this race.

RACE 10

LIM'S LIGHTNING – At the weights, he gets in here incredibly well here. He is the only horse dropping weight from his previous start where he was first up and had excuses. Still ran incredibly well and should be right in this second up.

LIM'S KOSCIUSZKO – Despite going up in weight and his winning streak coming to an end, his run was eye catching and looks the fittest horse heading into this first group 1 of 2021. Draws well with Danny Beasley engaged to ride.

HARD TOO THINK – First up run was exactly what we were hoping to see. Looks a horse who is going to improve when he gets out further than a mile but looks in tremendous order to fire here second up with some luck in running.

MINISTER – Until last start, the defending champion hadn't really impressed at all. Closed off incredibly well in his most recent run and looks to be peaking at the right time to defend his crown.

RACE 11

RED OCEAN – Form is up and down like a yo-yo. His best effort wins this and wins in well, but will we see that from him. Should take a sit of Ironchamp and be chiming in at the right time.

SAVVY COMMAND – Form in behind King's Command looks solid enough to figure here. The addition of Nunes only adds to its chances. Big danger.

SABAH STAR – Hasn't been putting a foot wrong in recent months. Despite the horror draw, he is a must for exotics.

SKY EYE – Another speed influence in the race but should be camped off the leaders and get a nice run one back the fence. Map horse.

RACE 12

SUPER IMPACT – Having his first run in Singapore for the in form Logan stable. He boasts a sharp three wins over 1400m & 1600m in New Zealand. Looks a nice prospect for better races down the track.

IN ALL HIS GLORY – Very consistent in his last few starts for our leading trainer. This is his ideal distance and should it rain throughout the day he prefers a yielding track.

LUCKY IMPERATOR – Hasn't missed a top four placing in his last five runs. Comes into this at the middle of the ratings and holds two wins over this distance. Big watch.

IRON RULER – Has been allocated topweight for this second division. With good speed on should be settling back in the field and flashing home late.
