Rail - B Course

Race 1

#1 HAPPY TANGO ran through the line with plenty of power at his most recent outing but was unfortunately cut down over the final strides.
The light weight and yielding track played its part in his eventual grind into second place, so from the inside draw this time around he's hard to ignore.
He does take a few strides to get himself up and into rhythm, which must be taken into account, but the firmer surface conditions anticipated should improve that aspect of his game.

#8 MULTIMORE has produced only moderate results this preparation but he's definitely in line for a Happy Valley success at this final city meeting for the current season.
If you stopped the vision of his last start 6th placing at the top of the home straight, you'd mark him as the winner.
However, as the result displays he tired at the 100m and was thereafter quickly overhauled by closers finding the line.
The yielding track was entirely responsible for his quick demise on that particular occasion but that shouldn't be the case here on the harder surface.

#3 PLENTIFUL produced a furious first 800m recently when leading at high speed before the wet conditions took its toll through the final 150m.
It was his first run in class 5 and unfortunately the run portrayed him as a genuine speedy squib, but I wouldn't be penning him on that one effort alone.
With more stability in the track tonight he'll again blast along in front, and it's fair to anticipate they'll be a stronger finish.

#12 EASY TOO has hit the line superbly at his two previous runs but the facts are simple, he must win this race or compulsory retirement beckons.
Therefore, he's worth including in all exotic calculations, however, it's going to take a mammoth and faultless ride by regular jockey Mathew Poon to first get him out the gets quick enough, before finding the line in time.

#10 GOODMANSHIP is another with his career on the line following a winless season from 9 overall starts.
He's hasn't, in fact , won a race for two seasons and now awaits a decision from the powers to be regarding his future.
The low draw creates an opportunity to box seat behind the speed, so he could run well, but focus and a proactive 
effort/ride are required.

Race 2

#3 FRUITY WARRIOR finds his way into class 5 for the first time and combined with a favourable draw, and an A grade rider, should be running a solid race.
He's also gained invaluable experience at Happy Valley recently so further improvement is likely.
His effort two back in class 4, when finishing third, would be just about good enough to win this event, so it's now over to Hugh Bowman to position up accordingly and seal the deal.

#11 CASA LEGEND had been threatening to win a race all season and finally got the chocolates at his most recent start.
It was a Sha Tin, and the track was wet, but the confidence gained from that performance shouldn't be underestimated approaching this assignment.
The wide draw won't matter because he settles back in the field, so I'd therefore suggest he's included in all major exotics and shown win/place respect.

#7 GO GO GO has gone close to victory at his four previous attempts and you can bank on him being in the finish again.
Zac Purton would feel like there's unfinished business to sort out after being on board in three of those defeats.
The draw in barrier 8 is tricky to exit from over the 1650m, so precise navigating through the initial meters is required, but if anyone can pull it of and get it done it'll be the champion jockey.

#9 KEEN UNITY found his way into class 5 back in May and should be winning a race at this level going forward.
Trainer Jimmy Ting has opted for the 2200m events recently which have tested his overall stamina and strength.
I'm confident, he's as good if not better than most of these pound for pound, so with a good ride, and touch of luck early, he can go close to securing the win.

#12 NINJA DERBY hasn't enjoyed much luck at three off his past four but like last start, when finishing second, could make his presence felt.
He's yet to win a race but gained plenty of additional strength when competing over 2200m three back at Happy Valley.
With a familiar rider aboard in Mathew Chadwick, and economical run likely, you can expect another competitive result.
