The related stallions Ajaya and Kodi Bear, sons of popular sires and half-brothers Invincible Spirit and Kodiac, will join the Rathbarry Stud roster in Ireland in 2017.

Owned and bred by Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, Ajaya was a high-class juvenile for William Haggas, beating Ribchester in last year's G2 Irish Gimcrack Stakes, having previously finished a head second to Gutaifan in the G1 Prix Robert Papin.

Hopes wil be high that Ajaya can be as successful at stud as fellow sons of Invincible Spirit such as Lawman and Zebedee.

He is out of a half-sister to Listed winner Tantina, the dam of Cityscape and Bated Breath, while his second dam is a G2 winner from the family of Xaar.

Kodi Bear was also a top-class performer at two, finishing second to Belardo in the G1 Dewhurst Stakes, and progressed at three, winning consecutive Group contests in the Sovereign Stakes and Celebration Mile.

A half-brother to the dam of two Listed winners, Kodi Bear comes from the family of four-time G1 winner Esoterique, Mill Reef Stakes winner Cool Creek and Prix Eugene Adam victor Archange D'Or.
