Parish Hall emulated his sire Teofilo on Saturday when he won the prestigious and breed defining G1 Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.
Always close to the pace in the 1400m contest he battled on gamely to win by half-a-length from fellow Irish raider Power.
Parish Hall was Teofilo's first winner in April and now holds the honour of being his first G1 winner.
Bred and trained by Jim Bolger, he is the first foal out of the Montjeu mare Halla Siamsa, an Irish 2000m winner at Fairyhouse.
Parish Hall is one of four stakes winners sired by Teofilo in his first season. He is again shuttling to Australia this spring.
Remember Alexander won the G3 Tyros Stakes, while Parish Hall's stablemate Teolane won a Listed race at Naas.
In Germany, Black Arrow is an unbeaten stakes winner after landing the Preis des Union Gestuts at his second start.
