Additional Entries For Hudson Conway Reduction

Another four horses have been added to the Hudson Conway Racing record draft at the Melbourne Select Racehorse Sale that will immediately follow the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale on March 2.

Unraced three-year-olds Whernside and Growth, winning three-year-old Caton and imported six-year-old Our Rockhampton have been added to the reduction, taking the draft numbers to 62 lots.

Inglis Bloodstock director Peter Heagney said the four horses would be additions to the catalogue and auctioned in alphabetical order to conclude the sale.

Melbourne Cup placegetter C'est La Guerre and reigning Adelaide Cup hero Muir are among the headline acts in the record draft.

C'est La Guerre finished third to Viewed and Bauer in the 2008 Melbourne Cup and last April finished third in the Chairman's Handicap and fourth in the Sydney Cup at Randwick.

Muir won the Adelaide Cup in March last year to take his record to six wins from only 23 starts.

The draft includes established winners Niblick (six wins), Base (five), Vesper (four), Elms (three), Billson (two), I'm Imposing, Integration, Kershaw, Newell, Posted, Powlett, Revitalise and the exciting Infuse.

Nick Williams said all horses in the stable's biggest-ever dispersal included recent city winners and placegetters plus unraced three-year-olds by leading sires.

He said most of the racehorses were bought for between $200,000 and $400,000 as yearlings.
