Grade 1 winning juvenile son of Declaration Of War will stand for $6,000
2020 Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (8f) winner Fire At Will (Declaration Of War) will stand at Sequel New York this year for a fee of $6,000.
Trained by Mike Maker, Fire At Will won three of his six career starts with his earnings just shy of $680,000 and he sold last week during Fasig-Tipton Digital's Fire At Will Flash Sale.
"He is absolutely the fastest two-year-old I have ever trained on the turf," said Maker who trained the colt for Three Diamonds Farm.
In addition to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, Fire At Will also won the Grade 3 With Anticipation Stakes (7f) and the Grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes (8.5f) before his Grade 1 victory. The son of Declaration Of War (War Front) also placed in the 2021 Transylvania Stakes (8.5f) at Keeneland as a three-year-old in 2021.
He is out of unplaced mare Flirt (Kitten's Joy) who is a half-sister to dual Grade 2 winner Decorated Invader (Declaration Of War) and stakes winning filly Jubilant Girl (Henrythenavigator).
