Grade 1 winning son of Uncle Mo to be aimed at Nunthorpe Stakes and Breeders’ Cup
Randall Lowe, owner - breeder of Grade 1 winner Golden Pal (Uncle Mo) has confirmed the colt's sale to Coolmore.
Trained by Wesley Ward, Golden Pal has not raced since winning the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (Gr 2, 5.5f) at Keeneland last November during a four start season as a two-year-old in which he also ran second in the Norfolk Stakes (Gr 2, 5f) at Royal Ascot.
The colt is likely to make his seasonal debut at Saratoga next month and the Nunthorpe Stakes (Gr 1, 5f) at York in August and a return to the Breeders' Cup are his likely targets this season.
