42 two-year-olds catalogued for the Inglis Ready2Race Sale breezed on Monday.
A total of 42 two-year-olds breezed at Seymour on Monday ahead of next month's Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale.
The quickest of the breezes was a colt by Coolmore's Vancouver (Medaglia d'Oro) who completed the 200 metre workout in a time of 10.16 seconds. Catalogued for the sale as Lot 176, the colt will be offered by JCS Thoroughbreds and he is the third foal out of the Quiet American (Fappiano) mare Anatole who is a half-sister to the Grade 1 winner Man From Wicklow (Turkoman) and Canadian Grade 2 winner Wild Heart Dancing (Farma Way). JCS Racing bought the colt for $80,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale earlier this year from the draft of Cornerstone Stud.
JCS Thoroughbreds were also responsible for the day's second fastest breeze with a Unencumbered (Testa Rossa) colt registering a time of 10.2 seconds. The colt is catalogued as Lot 43 and is the fifth foal out of the winning mare Magic Of Melbourne (Johannesburg) who has produced two winners to date in All In Brawl (War) and Melbourne Hero (Von Costa De Hero). The colt's third dam is Eloquent Edition (Sovereign Edition) who produced Spring Champion Stakes (Gr 1, 2000m) winner Magic Of Sydney (Danehill).
The 2020 Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale will be held on October 20 whilst the breeze ups at Eagle Farm will take place tomorrow. Click here for further information on the sale.
