Blue Storm wins at Newmarket on Tuesday
First season Darley shuttler Blue Point (Shamrdal) recorded his third winner, a day after his second, when Blue Storm (2 c ex Riskit Fora Biskit by Kodiac) broke his maiden at Newmarket on Tuesday.
Racing on debut, the James Tate-trained Blue Storm took the lead in the closing stages of the British EBF Novices Stakes (5f) to pull a length and a quarter clear of Cuban Thunder (Profitable).
Blue Storm was a £75,000 purchase by Rabbah Bloodstock from the draft of Longview Stud at last year's Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale. He is out of the Listed winning Kodiac (Danehill) mare Riskit Fora Biskit, who is also the dam of the stakes placed Silver Surfer (Caravaggio).
