New Group 1 winners
Six for Adlerflug
In winning Sunday's Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup (1m2.5f) at the Curragh, English raider Alenquer (4 c ex Wild Blossom by Areion) became the sixth Group 1 winner for Adlerflug (In The Wings). A Group winner already, the William Haggas-trained and Gestut Romerhof-bred colt beat High Definition (Galileo) by a neck, with State Of Rest (Starspangledbanner) the same distance back in third. Formerly based at Gestut Schlenderhan, Adlerflug died at the age of 17 last year.
