Magic Millions will present a rare opportunity next week with a Group 1-winning mare who is due to give birth to a foal by sire sensation Zoustar early next month added to its upcoming virtual sale.

Marabi was on Tuesday confirmed as an addition to the sale that will take place from 2pm next Tuesday, August 27.

A winner of seven of her 10 starts, including the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) and Group 2 Australia Stakes (1200m) in 2022, the daughter of I Am Invincible has been consigned for Vinery Stud on behalf of Greg Perry's Greenwich Stud.

"I've been lucky enough to have raced some good ones but nothing as gifted with natural, sustained speed like she had," renowned breeder Perry said after her retirement.

Marabi's final start was in last year's Group 1 Sangster Stakes (1200m), in which she finished 10th, and the half-sister to VRC Oaks winner Aristia was served by Zoustar on October 5 last year.

"To be able to offer Marabi as part of the catalogue for the Virtual Sale next Tuesday is a privilege," Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said.

"Marabi is bred by an extraordinary breeder in Greg Perry - in addition to Marabi, he's responsible for Group One winners Artorius, Atlantic Jewel and Commanding Jewel.

"Marabi must rank as one of the finest young pregnant mares being offered anywhere in the world in 2024."

Final entries for the Magic Millions August Virtual Sale will close on Wednesday, August 21.
