The late Cambridge Stud stallion Tavistock (Montjeu) chalked up his 21st stakes winner on Saturday as Travimyfriend (8 g ex Pineau by Carnegie) broke through at stakes level for the first time in the Sofitel Handicap (Listed, 1400m) at Flemington.

The Rachael Frost-trained eight-year-old gelding, who was lining up for the 50th time in his career, beat Windstorm (Redoute's Choice) by three-quarters of a length, while Morvada (Mossman) was another nose away in third.

The gelding is out of the winning Carnegie (Sadler's Wells) mare Pineau, who was purchased for NZ$6,200 at the 2012 New Zealand Bloodstock National Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Sale carrying the gelding in utero.

Pineau has produced four winners and Travimyfriend becomes her third stakes winner, joining Group 3 winner Matchmaker (Makfi) and Listed scorer Dancer's Tale (Tale Of The Cat).

Further back this is family of Group 1-placed Octopussy (Octagonal), the dam of Group 2 winner Pussy Willow (O'Reilly), Listed-winning duo Pussy O'Reilly (O'Reilly) and Insider Agent (Stravinsky).

Meanwhile at Doomben, Skate To Paris (6 m ex Paris Blu by Murphy's Blu Boy) handed Yarradale Stud-based sire Bradbury's Luck (Redoute's Choice) his tenth stakes winner as she landed the Brisbane Handicap (Listed, 1600m).

The six-year-old mare surged clear powerfully to beat Free Fly Too (Teofilo) by a comprehensive three lengths, while Toryjoy (Street Cry) was another half a length away in third.

The mare was purchased by her trainer Chris Munce for $10,000 at the 2016 Magic Millions March Yearling Sale and she is out of six time-winning mare Paris Blu (Murphy's Blu). She hails from the same family as Group 2 winner Super Slew (Air De France) and Listed scorer Bundoran Breeze (Song Of Tara).

Bradbury's Luck's progeny is headed by multiple Group 1 winner Luckygray and he is standing at Yarradale Stud for a fee of $3,300 (inc GST).
