Early Mail and Blackbookers for December 30

Early mail for Randwick on Saturday and Blackbook runners for December 30-January 1.

RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 1 (1) LEGISLATION: Oozed class when he made his debut with an impressive win over 1000m at this course in October, showing terrific race sense to rail up and peel off the back of the leaders to win with plenty in hand. Prepared for his return with a soft win in a Gosford trial on December 19 when he led and extended easily to score by four lengths. Top stable has given the lead by keeping him at home when he was also an acceptor for a $200,000 race at Doomben.

RACE 2 (2) SASSO CORBARO: Promising filly could not have done any more when resuming at Hawkesbury on December 17, cruising away from her rivals over 1150m to score untouched by more than three lengths. That was her second win in just four starts and she should take this rise in class and distance in her stride as she holds ample scope to improve off her first-up effort.

RACE 5 (6) BRAVE SONG: His short quote is no surprise after his impressive first-up win at Canterbury when he produced a sharp turn of foot to put his way his rivals easily over 1250m in a sure sign that he is ready to live up to the potential he displayed in his short first prep of three starts during the winter. Loads of upside and certain to be fitter for his next step through the classes.
