RACE 4 (7) SWIFT LADY: Emerging filly looking to clinch a trip to Queensland on a seven day back from her eye catching sixth in the G3 JHB Carr Stakes over 1400m at Randwick last Saturday when she was unlucky not to finish closer. She’s is already a soft track winner and is well placed at this trip and distance as the 3kg allowance she gets for Brodie Loy to carry 2.5kg under the limit gives her a definite edge.
RACE 6 (3) FRESPANOL: This could be his best prep to date judging by his strong first up third at Rosehill four weeks ago over this trip. Kept up to the mark with a recent trial when he ran through the line strongly and he ticks a lot of boxes in this field as he boasts 100 percent in the money records at the course (2/2), distance (4/4) and in soft and heavy going (4/4). The Waterhouse stable has him well placed on his home track.
RACE 7 (9) ANY DAY WILL DO: Multiple Group placed mare who has performed strongly in her three starts since resuming that point to her being close her best again. Well placed on the limit weight in this company after going under narrowly at her last start over 1600m at Warwick Farm when she made a game attempt to lead all the way after getting severely unsettled before the start. Good value as she boasts a strong record on affected tracks.
