Sydney Specials: Randwick- 28th May 2022

We return to Randwick on Saturday and there looks to be a few decent betting options across the program.

The Brad Widdup trained Queen Bellissimo only went down narrowly in her return and appears well placed in the final event.

A winner of five of her 10 career starts, she has only missed the frame once and was back better than ever when second behind Sacrimony.

The latter has since failed, however taking his last start SP as the point of reference as he was well backed to start the 5/4 favourite at Scone.

Since kept fresh (28 days), she wasn't knocked around in a recent trial and should improve further second up.

Alysha Collett has been aboard for four of her five career wins and should look to lead from the inside draw.

Current favourite American President is in great form but may have just levelled out and a key negative with Bowman off.

Queen Bellissimo will have no concerns with the heavy track and is expected to take plenty of catching.

I have the gap better her and American President much closer and happy to take the price on offer.

In the ninth event happy to back the Chris Waller trained Kalino who returns as a gelding.

Only seen once last preparation he finished fifth behind A Very Fine Red.

Prior to that he boasted some decent form as a 2YO and looks very well placed for his return.

Has certainly looked the part at the trials and should get all the favours from the inside draw.

Double figures is being offered about his chances which has plenty of appeal.

Anywhere near his previous best and he is sure to be right in the finish.

Simon Dinopoulos' Tips:

Race 9 #16 Kalino @ $10
Race 10 #3 Queen Bellissimo @ $6.50
