Naracoorte Racing Club is also situated only 4km from Naracoorte township and is surrounded by the famous Coonawarra and Padthaway wine region. Naracoorte Racing Club hosts eight race meetings each year with the highlights being the Naracoorte Cup in February and Wrattonbully Cup in November. Naracoorte racecourse is a circulrar turning track with a circumference of 1730 metres and short home straight of 270 metres. Inside barriers are an advantage over most distances as the track features a long curve from the 1400m to the start of the home straight. The turns are cambered into and out of the straight. Naracoorte racecourse is well grassed and is fully irrigated.
