France continued to repel overseas contenders for the Classics as Patrice Cottier’s Sparkling Plenty took Sunday’s Prix de Diane at Chantilly.

The Christopher Head-trained Blue Rose Cen (16/5 F) stretched her winning streak to five with an impressive performance in the Group 1 Prix de Diane at Chantilly.

This year’s Prix de Diane (French Oaks) at Chantilly looks to be an exciting renewal with top French fillies Blue Rose Cen, Pensee Du Jour and Jannah Rose opposing for the first time. There is a strong contingent from the UK and Ireland, headed by Listed winner Running Lion and Aidan O’Brien’s Never Ending Story.
