Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close watch on Luiz Henrique's progress after the Brazilian forward played a key role in Botafogo's 3-1 victory over Atletico Mineiro.
Henrique scored the opening goal in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday, which led to the club's first-ever title.
Despite Botafogo being reduced to 10 men in the second minute, Henrique's performance was crucial, contributing with a goal and an assist to lead his team to glory.
Henrique, who rejoined Brazilian football earlier this year from Real Betis for a €15 million fee, has been in sensational form at Botafogo, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 51 appearances this season.
His strong performances have also earned him a spot in the Brazil national team, where he has scored twice in six appearances, competing for a position on the right wing with Savio Moreira.
While his time at Betis was marked by inconsistency, flashes of quality under manager Manuel Pellegrini failed to translate into a lasting impact.
However, Henrique's return to Brazil has revitalised his career, catching the eye of Barcelona, who had scouted him during his Betis tenure.
