Let It Slip wins 2015 G1x.Com.Au-Placid Ark Stakes Listed $100,000 at Ascot (WA) 3yo, 1200m.

Let It Slip was eased from her wide barrier (9) and settled in last place in the 12-horse field, following a strong pace. She was still last nearing the home turn, tracked up deep rounding the home turn, switched out shortly after straightening. She then put in a strong run to hit the front at the 100m and went on to win really well in a smart performance.

Yoshi Noxious drifted back from barrier three and settled back in tenth place, between runners. He moved up (wide) coming to the home turn, challenged halfway down the straight and then fought well for a good second.

Mystic Maid settled just beyond midfield (wide without cover) after starting from barrier ten. She improved (still wide) approaching the home turn, challenged at the 200m and fought well for a good third after a difficult trip.

Favourite Celebrity Dream raced in sixth place on the rails from her good barrier (2). She was travelling well on turning for home but was badly blocked, then checked at the 200m and her 11th should be overlooked.
