Farm Boy wins 2015 Go Racing Synd. Avondale Cup Group 2 NZ$100,000 at Ellerslie (NZ) , 2400m.

Farm Boy was able to secure a nice spot one off the rail in sixth, after working forward from a wide draw (12). Holding his position throughout, Farm Boy improved from the 600m to assume a narrow advantage at the 300m and sustained his run to win narrowly.

Racing to the inner of Farm Boy, King Kamada was off the rail to track the winner into the straight and he kept winding up to almost claim victory.

Third placed Rock Diva settled five places back on the rail, circled wide after moving away from the rail at the 650m andnstayed on strongly.

El Soldado worked forward from a wide draw (14) to secure second in running, challenged to lead at the 600m and kept fighting resolutely when challenged to finish close up in fourth.

Fifth placed Candle in the Wind staged a big finish from ten lengths off the pace at the 600m, when tracking up behind runners and only gaining clear room at the 100m.
