Platinum Witness wins 2014 Armadillo Stakes Listed NZ$70,000 at Riccarton Park (NZ) 3yo, 1600m.

First out, before securing the trail, Platinum Witness switched off the rail to track up in fifth entering the straight. Held up for 200m thereafter, Platinum Witness found clear galloping room at the 300m and put her rivals to the sword when racing clear with a powerful burst.

Sixth on the inner passing the 600m, Concensuswas starved for a run working up behind the leader to the 300m and

got home strongly for second once clear at the 150m.

Eye Raced Ninety sustained a courageous effort for third after racing outside the leader, and after receiving a nice trip in fifth Purcentage was clear to challenge on straightening before ending up in fourth.
