Sheiswhatsheis will look to build on her last start win when she lines up in the Open Handicap over a mile at Doomben on Saturday.
The Tony Gollan-trained runner has won two of her last three and was far from disgraced in listed company on the other occasion when fifth in the Tattersall’s Mile behind Crack Me Up.
Alannah Fancourt remains on board and claims a much needed 1.5kg and from barrier 7 would expect her to take Sheiswhatsheis to the lead once again.
Looks an interesting race for Sheiswhatsheis with the stablemate Pindan Pearl the main danger once again.
Pindan Pearl has finished runner up to Sheiswhatsheis in two of her last three outings and was also good in the Tatt’s Mile when third on that occasion.
There is a lot to like about the recent form of Pindan Pearl however she is now out to 413 days since her last win and the fact that Sheiswhatsheis will roll forward to lead again she looks the one to beat.
Both are similar odds and happy to take the $2.70 about Sheiswhatsheis who has the much better winning strike rate.
Later in the day Gypsy Miss represents good each way value in the Class 3 Plate having just missed when runner up to Pleased over this C/D last start.
The four-year-old mare has been very consistent in recent times and she did not have a great deal of luck when three wide throughout last start.
From barrier 5 would expect her to get a nice run off the pace with Damian Browne back on board and this looks a very winnable race for her.
The current price of $6 looks a good each way bet down in the weights and would expect her to be right there at the finish again.
Good Luck!
