That came at Echuca when running on hard from the back. Another 100m only looks a perfect set up.
It does look a great piece of placement to find a metro race against this standard line up.
Just don’t want the track to be overly damp or be caught on the fence but he can be too good.
Tony McEvoy produces a promising staying type in Dollar For Dollar later on in Race 7.
He could well have won all four starts and the one on affected ground was an excellent performance.
We might get some decent value on the day given he’s up in grade and meeting more experienced rivals.
Has to be better for that first up effort but gets a nice run in transit all the way.
