Denoninator will return to Eagle Farm on Saturday in the Open Handicap over 2212m and is certainly worth giving another chance.
Put two wins together at this C/D before doing a lot wrong over 2020m at Doomben last start, also not having much luck throughout.
Tends to race much better here at Eagle Farm and is also probably better suited in this small field.
Jeff Lloyd sticks with him today and if he runs up to his effort at this C/D two back he will be very hard to beat.
La Spiaggia looks the main danger having won at Doomben last start in the same race as Denoninator.
The return to Eagle Farm appears to work into the favour of Denoninator who also meets La Spiaggia better at the weights and if he returns to his best form he should return to the winners circle.
Later in the programme Brazen Moss (Race 4 #8) will be looking for his second win in as many starts in the Benchmark 90 Handicap over 1600m.
The Tony Gollan-trained runner did a lot wrong but still managed to win over 1615m at Doomben last start and has placed in 2/3 at Eagle Farm previously.
Jim Byrne who is undefeated from two previous runs on Brazen Moss remains on board and from barrier 3 should find himself around midfield.
His last start win rates very well in this company and despite coming up against a couple of runners in form like Sea Red and Lord Coconuts Brazen Moss certainly looks the one to beat.
Brazen Moss possesses a terrific record over the mile with three of his four career wins coming at the trip and he can certainly add to that record today.
Good Luck!!
As a side note, TopBetta will continue its King Of The Spring tournament (Cox Plate Day) on Saturday ($20K Total Prize Pool) and it is definitely worth checking out - Click Here .
