He’s been racing in some competitive Victorian provincial events and not being that far behind. They were all in shorter than this Saturday’s 1400m.
His best runs came at Sandown on tracks with a touch of give in them around this time last year.
He finds a little drop in weight and won’t get too far back off the gate either.
