Goldbya scored an overdue win last time out and looks very well placed to go on with it when lining up at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

Finishing eighth in the listed Murray Bridge Cup two back, Goldbya found the line very well last start at Morphettville over the mile to score a narrow win and he drops considerably in weight on that effort.

From barrier 3, the Mick Huxtable-trained runner is likely to get a good run off the speed and on weight adjusted Timeform ratings looks very well placed to make it two wins on the bounce.

Dropping back only 50m in trip, Goldbya has had five runs at the trip, winning two of them and placing on another occasion.

The current price of $2.30 looks pretty good and he will take a lot of beating with only 54.5kg to carry.

Later in the day Latin Hero will look to build on some solid recent form, having placed in two of his three outings this time in.

The four-year-old Gelding was very poor two back but runs on either side of that have been good and he is likely to appreciate the step up to 1400m in this.

On best form, Latin Hero rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and with the extra 200m on offer expecting him to get back and run on strongly.

Currently at $5 in a small field looks good value coming off some solid form and he will be right in the finish of this one.

Intrepido kicked off his career in good order with a win at this course last start but goes up in weight once again for this.

The Peter Moody-trained runner takes on a tougher field today and his last start win rates lower than that of Big On Bling and Countership who showed good ability in his debut campaign.

Apprentice jockey Harry Coffey goes on board and claims 3kg but the current price of $2.30 looks a risk against a handful of runners in good form.
