Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 23.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Morphettville, Ascot, Kembla Grange and Cranbourne.
MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 6 @ 3:57 PM
BIG STORY (5) got the job done in the most impressive fashion last start. This is trip doesn't look a bother and will prove hard to stop now that he's found winning form. ARUGAMAMA (3) looked to have the perfect set-up last week but was too conservative early and let the leader get away with murder in a small field. Likely to drift back from the ugly draw but will run the trip and can cause a right scare if close enough when turning. TIPPA (1) hasn't put a foot wrong in his last two as he shoots for the hat-trick. Meets a tougher field but is sure to take another strong account of himself. SIR KINGSFORD (2) had it all his own way here last start when leading pillar-to-post. Expect there to be more pressure on him this time but he deserves respect. MONTEPULCIANO (8) is the one to watch for charging late in the piece. Don't dismiss, can add some juice to the exotics. GLENS TOP CAT (6) next best.
SELECTIONS: Big Story to win again.

ASCOT: RACE 6 @ 6:47 PM
YONGA LASS (11) has been well fancied in stronger events than this recently, just missing in the R.J. Peters last week. This looks a perfect race for her and she draws a great barrier for Pike. Ready to peak third-up and this race looks hers for the taking. DEVOTED (6) returns to the west following a commendable effort in Victoria. Now with Luke Fernie, he's trialled well coming into this and he has plenty of ratings high enough to get the job done in this event. Can run a bold race on resumption. INVESTMENTSTRATEGY (9) couldn't hold on when setting the tempo in the R.J. Peters last start, only beaten 0.6L. Loves this track and trip and he's a third-up winner in the past. Still some improvement to come and he can go close to winning. ALL THE KING'S MEN (8) rates highly off a strong fresh effort and brings different form into this. Loves the track and trip and can go close. VALOUR ROAD (1) is better than he showed last start and ticks plenty of boxes today. SELECTIONS: Keen on Yonga Lass.
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 5 @ 2:55 PM
ALALCANCE (4) couldn't have been more impressive at her first Australian start when sitting on the speed with the 58kg for an emphatic 3.5 len victory over 2140m at Warwick Farm on September 25. Since fitted with two searching trials and will prove hard to run down again in this stronger contest. MODESTY (7) improved sharply at his second Australian start when swooping late for a narrow victory over 1800m at Rosehill on November 9. Will have little trouble running the 2000m out with the extra weight. Profiles nicely. ARISTONOUS (6) mixing form at his last five outings and worth one more chance here with the 3kg claim. Not that far away on the line when fifth over 2000m at Rosehill on November 2. Goes into the exotics. GILDED WATER (11) owned by H M The King and makes his Australian debut for the Maher stable. Has shown staying ability in the UK and resumes with a 1200m trial placing at Warwick Farm. Can race handy and figure prominently. SELECTIONS: Alalcance to win again.
CRANBOURNE: RACE 7 @ 3:45 PM
FLOOZIE (10) looks a great each way chance. She's always promised good ability and resumed with a very good win at Bendigo. It was only a BM70 there but she ran fast closing splits to win. Her form around Miss Aria last preparation stacks right up here. TIZ INVINCIBLE (1) ran very well in fast time behind the heavily supported Fancify at Flemington on Cup Day, sticking on strongly for second. She was back to something like her best there and if she's positive from the wide gate again, she'll go close. KONASANA (3) ran on well in the Fancify race to grab third. She's going to get a long way back again but will be hard to hold out. MARBLE ARCH (8) is racing well this time in and has claims. BRAZEN LADY (4) next best. SELECTIONS: Floozie each-way.
