We saw slick times, records broken and Think About It extend his winning record when saluting in the feature $20m TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

The race was run at genuine tempo with Punter's Intelligence clocking leader Overpass running the first 600m in 34.47, approximately 1.5 lengths quicker than The Kosciuszko (1200m) and 6 lengths faster than the Sydney Stakes (1200m).

Jockey Sam Clipperton gave Think About It the perfect run from a favourable draw, and the gelding did the rest.

He travelled well into the race, sprinted a solid 10.64 between the 400m-200m and maintained a strong finishing speed to the line, holding off the late challengers.

The Joe Pride trained galloper has won ten in a row and can improve again, coming off a career-peak figure.

Runner-up I Wish I Win should've been in the finish but had excuses in the straight.

He was checked/blocked at a critical stage, and once clear, he surged to the line, running the second-fastest final 200m of the race in 11.13.

Private Eye was brave in defeat after racing three-wide without cover the entire trip.

To put that into perspective, he travelled an extra 3.4m compared to I Wish I Win and an additional 1.2m relative to the winner.

He is excelling this campaign on dry ground and a rise in trip suits now.

The run of the race and arguably the day was Godolphin galloper In Secret

She had too much to from the wide draw and was held up at key stages.

Once clear, she ripped home in some of the meeting's fastest final 600m/400m/200m splits in 32.39/21.37/10.95.

Fangirl went to a new level and was a dominant victor in the inaugural $5m King Charles lll (1600m).

The improving mare had every chance in the run but reeled off a sharp 33.02 for her final 600m and pulled away from her rivals.

Kovalica has had too much to do in all three runs this prep, and again, he wasn't suited to a sit/sprint race shape.

The four-year-old was a flashing light run, got too far back in the run and savaged the line, running his final 400m/200m in 21.49/10.79.

He is screaming out for a race with genuine tempo and will be suited back to his own age group, with his next target being the $10m Golden Eagle (1500m).

The well-fancied favourite Mr Brightside was honest in defeat, holding on for second.

Front Page made it back-to-back wins in The Kosciuszko (1200m) and the seven-year-old did it with ease.

Visually, he looked to be leading at a fast tempo, but jockey Tyler Schiller rated the gelding to perfection. Further, he went out in front at an overall pace rating of moderate-even after adjustments.

He slipped away from his rivals between the 600m-200m mark, running 21.62 for that section and won significantly.

Opal Ridge tried hard in defeat and kept trying to the line.

Far Too Easy was mathematically out of the race and was outstanding in defeat.

He clocked a 32.66 for his final 600m with I'Ve Bean Tryin'' the race's next best in 32.82.

It's worth noting Arctic Glamour who was a decisive winner in the Listed Reginald Allen (1400m).

She built through her gears well and went through the line full of energy, running 11.13 for her final 200m. The filly will now go to The Callander-Presnell in a fortnight.

Fastest last 600m: In Secret 32.39
