The Sangster Stakes at Morphettville back in May shapes as a strong form reference for the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara at Eagle Farm in Brisbane on Saturday.
Three of the first six horses home in the Sangster will tackle the Tiara lead by winner Snapdancer and runner-up Away Game from the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable while Brooklyn Hustle, who finished sixth in the Sangster, will be having her second crack at the 1400m feature.
Snapdancer hasn't raced since her Adelaide success and drew the extreme outside barrier in the field of 21 while Away Game, who has had the one since finishing 10th in the Kingsford-Smith Cup behind Apache Chase in Brisbane also drew wide in barrier 17.
Jason Warren and Dean Krongold's Brooklyn Hustle drew slightly better in 13 and comes off a fast finishing sixth behind Alligator Blood in the $1.5m Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap at Eagle Farm a fortnight back.
Snapdancer sits on the second line of betting at $6 with tab.com.au behind the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Annavisto who is a $4.60 favourite drawn in barrier 11.
