Victorian Trainer Charged By Racing NSW Stewards

Victorian trainer David Brideoake will face a Racing NSW stewards inquiry after being charged with treatments given to his classic winning filly Princess Jenni in Sydney in April.

Racing NSW stewards have issued charges against trainer Brideoake following the conduct of an inquiry on May 24 into the circumstances that led to the late withdrawal of Princess Jenni from the Adrian Knox Stakes at Randwick on April 6.

The hearing of the charges is scheduled to be conducted at the offices of Racing NSW on June 17.

Brideoake is facing two charges:-

1.    Brideoake did, without the permission of the stewards, inject and/or cause to inject Princess Jenni between approximately 7:45am and 11:58am on April 6 prior to the Adrian Knox Stakes conducted at Randwick on that day.

2.    Brideoake did, without the permission of the stewards, administer and/or caused to be administered medication to Princess Jenni between approximately 7:45am and 11:58am on April 6 prior to the Adrian Knox Stakes at Randwick on that day.
