Almost Court and Show A Star the likely lead pair. SHOW A STAR has thrived since arriving at the Bjorn Baker stable. Fell just short of making it three straight wins when second over 1500m at Rosehill. Looks well suited here under Quality conditions and is only one of four horses who sit inside the handicap.

Should be hard fit at this stage of his prep. Only minor query is whether he runs out a strong ten furlongs. Record over the trip currently stands at two placings from four starts.

AUVRAY showed good improvement on his first up outing when sixth in the Parramatta Cup. Resumed behind Show A Star at Warwick Farm. Now meets him 4kg better at the weights from when they last clashed.

MORE ENERGY caused a boilover when winning the Parramatta Cup last start. Will start in the market here and deservedly so.
