There will be strong interest in the Olive 2yo Magic Millions debutant — Let It Roll — a well-bred colt by Not A Single Doubt from Princess Layla.

He will line up in the Nexis Self Managed Super Funds 2yo Maiden (1000m) and comes off a 1.5L trial third at Randwick.

“He’s a really nice horse. He will probably be better as a 3yo, but definitely has a lot of ability,” Olive says.

“I’m not quite sure he’ll be quite precocious enough as a 2yo, but he will still go very well on Friday and I’m really looking forward to seeing what he does.”

Olive will line up three runners in the $20,000 Nexis Business Advisors Open Handicap (1300m) headed by the top-rater Nat King Ku coming off a placing in the ($70,000) Snake Gully at Gundagi.

“He has a fair bit of weight, but grows a leg with Jeff Penza on so will carry all of it,” Olive says.

“I was very happy with him going into Gundagi and he’s pleased the stable since.”

Lock The Doors and Fair Call will also race. Olive says the former was rated-up off good early form and is continuing to race well and just needs to break through and win one.

Olive expects Turbo Bundy (Race 5) to be improved off the break and following a couple of jump outs and says he has some wins in him for sure.

Her Name Is Rio (Race 4) relaxed last start with Matty Cahill on and hit the line and Olive says she will hopefully do the same on Friday. “It’s a race she can be competitive in”.

Olive’s Group 1 winning Canberra mare Single Gaze is back on the water walker and will return to the stable next week.

Olive says all is well with the Vinery Stakes winner and an autumn campaign is being mapped out.
