Promising three-year-old He’s Our Rokkii is likely to be scratched from Saturday’s Sandown Guineas to instead head to the Perth carnival.

The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained gelding is likely to run in the $500,000 W.A. Guineas (1600m) on Saturday week.

He’s Our Rokkii has drawn wide in barrier 13 for the Sandown Guineas and the stable also has Flying Light in the race.

The former New Zealander came to Australia with a big reputation after placing at Group 3 level and running fourth in a Group 1 as a juvenile.

A first up winner at Benalla, He’s Our Rokkii ran a last-start fourth to Sandown Guineas entrant Mahuta in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington.

He’s Our Rokkii is a $12 chance in TAB all-in betting for the W.A Guineas.
