SELECTIONS
Sharp sprinter flies when fresh and this looks an ideal assignment for him coming off a break of seven weeks since his last start when second under 59kg in a hot form race over 1200m at this course won by Good Project (Music Magnate third).
Had plenty of excuses (checked; lost plate) in that race after big wins at previous two starts and hard to fault his overall record, having missed a place just twice in 13 starts.
Showed plenty in first two starts with a Gosford win and a fifth at this course prior to a spell.
Has since been gelded and well prepared for his return with two excellent Randwick trials, winning the most recent running away by 2.5 lengths when fitted with blinkers which he has applied for this race.
With Winona Costin’s claim it all points to him being prepared for a first-up kill.
Rosehill Race 7 - 9 Magic Of Dreams
Talented Newcastle mare returns to Sydney for her third run since resuming after she was sent to Brisbane for her last start when unlucky to finish second over 1200m at Doomben when her rider protested unsuccessfully.
Ready to peak over her ideal trip, having never missed a place in four starts at 1200m.
