Another busy weekend in America.
This was one of numerous "win and you're in" for the Breeders Cup races and went to Immersive, a daughter of Nyquist trained by Brad Cox with Manny Franco riding from the two "Q" horses – Quickick and Quietside.
Saturday's Keeneland card had the Woodford Gr 2 1100m turf with the win going to Our Shot from Charcoal 30/1 and Arzate 5/1.
The Thoroughbred Club of America Gr 2 saw Zeitos 13/4 win for Asmussen – JL Ortiz fro Spirit Wind and Brightworks.
The 27th running of the First Lady Gr 1 saw favourite Gina Romantica get s double for JL Ortiz and a soft win from Chili Flag 5/1 and Fluffy Sox 18/1.
The Futurity Gr 1 saw a stunning win from First Avenue which immediately had everyone reaching for their little black books. He's owned by Godolphin and by Medaglia d'Oro and with the Walsh yard and this time had Tyler Gaffalione on board whom we imagine has now got his saddle superglued on to the horse.
Carl Spackler continued his good run in the Coolmore Turf Mile and got a great ride from Gaffalione.
Over at Belmont the Jockey Club Invitational Derby saw the start of a double for Christophe Clement with Carson's Run and then Senbei on 4/1 won the Sprint.
The Frizette saw most of our picks scratched and the win therefore went outside that to Scottish Lassie 13/2 with Showyte second.
The Champagne saw favourite Chancer McPatrick oblige beating Tip Top Thomas and Mo Plex 14/1 third. Uncaged was scratched.
At Santa Anita the Rodeo Drive went to Hanf The Moon despite running wide on both turns with Aspen Grove second.
The American Pharoah saw Citizen Bull win in a very tight finish with Getaway Car and McKinzie Street.
