On a very wet day in Rome it was Feurblitz ridden by Robert Havel who just got the better of Wild Wolf in a close photo to take the Derby Italiano 129.

The second horse went off at 25/1 and was ridden by Umberto Rispoli who will be packing his bags again shortly to go to Hong Kong next weekend.

Third home was Smoking Joe, the mount of Fabbio Branca, who started at 12/1.
