Sam King brings you two selections for this afternoon's action including a half-brother to the mighty Frankel who looks to have an excellent chance of landing the feature at Newbury…
Kikkuli – Newbury 3.35
This doesn't look like the deepest of renewals of the Hungerford Stakes and Kikkuli is the one that retains plenty of potential in this seven-furlong division. The half-brother to the mighty Frankel ran a blinder when denied a short-head by Haatem in a red-hot Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot before being far from disgraced back in sixth in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat. That form looks an absolute standout here and he could take plenty of stopping now back down in grade.
Wheels Of Fire – Newmarket 2.40
Not many people from this side of the world would have heard of jockey Faleh Bughenaim but he certainly has a capable pair of hands. The leading Qatari rider has picked up some good rides at HQ this afternoon, especially Wheels Of Fire for Al Shaqab. The Richard Hannon-trained two-year-old built on his pleasing debut effort at Windsor when third in a warm maiden at Glorious Goodwood last time and a replication of that may well suffice here.
