Trained by Julie Camacho, the son of Charm Spirit was a three-time winner as a juvenile, including over seven furlongs. He commenced his three year old campaign with a Newmarket handicap victory and went from strength to strength over the course of the season. An easy winner of the six furlong Carnavon Stakes at Newbury, Shaquille broke through at Group 1 level with a devastating victory in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, beating Little Big Bear by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

The colt made a successful transition into open company when taking the Group 1 July Stakes at Newmarket's July Course, having shown his outstanding turn of foot to cruise past the field with three furlongs to run. Although he was very disappointing on his final start in the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock Park, it was clear that Shaquille did not show his true form.

The colt retires with amassed earnings of over £750,000, including two Group 1 victories and a Listed success over six furlongs.

Trainer Julie Camacho said: "Shaquille has taken us to the very highest level and given us some of the most exciting days of our racing lives. We thank Martin for entrusting him to us, and we wish the team at Dullingham Park Stud the best of luck for his stallion career. We look forward to training some of his progeny in years to come."

Shaquille will be the first stallion to stand at Dullingham Park Stud near Newmarket and a fee for the 2024 season will be announced at a later date.
