Rebel Territory (11/1) became the first horse to win the Victoria Cup from a single-figure stall as Amanda Perett’s charge was relentless down the Ascot straight.
The five-year-old returned to action with a half-length success at Newmarket in April and continued the Amanda Perrett team's fine run of form of late.
The far side looked to have it between them as Tyros and Vafortino made the early running, but Rebel Territory seemingly had other ideas as Jim Crowley's mount burst to the front down the centre of the track approaching the furlong pole. Biggles (12/1) caught the eye running on nicely to grab second, but he was no match for the eventual four-length winner. Vafortino (11/1) stuck on well to finish a further neck behind in third while Spycatcher (11/1) and Safe Voyage (14/1) filled the fourth and fifth spots.
Speaking with ITV Racing Jim Crowley said: "He's won well, probably too well, but I think he goes on the ground whereas a lot of them don't which has made him look quite impressive".
"He's a smashing horse and Amanda dropped him back to seven on his first run at Newmarket then this was the obvious race for him. It's nice when things like this come to fruition. The owners have been with Amanda for a long time and it's lovely for them to have a nice big winner like this."
