Tip Two Win is back in training after picking up an injury while out in Qatar.

Twice a winner at the Doha track last winter, the son of Dark Angel was sixth in the Qatar Derby when stepped up to a mile and a quarter on his latest visit to the Middle East in December.

Last year’s 2000 Guineas runner-up has been given a clean bill of health and is being gradually brought back to full fitness for the coming turf season.

Trainer Roger Teal said: “He picked up a bit of a knock in Doha, (but) everything seems all right now.

“He’s scanned clean and he’s back in work.

“He’s at Jamie Magee’s (in Lambourn) at the minute, doing a few weeks on the water treadmill. He’ll be back in full training after that.”

As for plans, Teal will consider bringing the four-year-old back in distance.

“I don’t know where we will start him off – we just might drop him back in trip,” said the Hungerford trainer.

“We’ll see how he is when we get him into full work.

“We could go back to seven furlongs or a mile, or we might even drop back to a stiff six if there is one. We’re just going to play it by ear and see how we go.”
