Sloane Avenue is set for a trip to sunnier climes this winter following his narrow victory under Frankie Dettori in Wednesday's Cash Out On The Betdaq+ App/EBF Stallions Hyde Stakes at Kempton.
The three-year-old was an 8-1 shot having finished down the field at Belmont Park in America on his previous start and was made to dig deep to fend off Alain de Royer-Dupre's French challenger Cladocera by a neck.
The £40,000 contest acts as a Fast-Track Qualifier for the £150,000 Ladbrokes All-Weather Mile at Lingfield on All-Weather Championships Finals Day next year.
Trainer Jeremy Noseda will target his charge at the Good Friday fixture on April 3, but he is set to first tackle the newly-laid dirt surface at Meydan in Dubai.
"I was delighted with Sloane Avenue's performance. We will go to Dubai and then come back for All-Weather Championships Finals Day," said Noseda.
"We will start him off in Dubai in the first leg of the Maktoum Challenge over a mile and keep him to the dirt and see how that pans out.
"He is a dirt-bred American horse and he has trained on the dirt in America and loved it."
