Donnacha O'Brien's daughter of Caravaggio Porta Fortuna is eyeing further Group 1 gold as she prepares for a crack at the Coolmore America "Justify" Matron Stakes in Leopardstown next month. Following a near miss in the 1000 Guineas, proved herself as a top contender in the fillies' mile division when scoring at Royal Ascot in the Coronation Stakes, before running out an authoritative winner of the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.

Connections of Passenger revealed the Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old had undergone a successful surgery on the condylar fracture he suffered while finishing third in the York Stakes in late July. Passenger has shown promising early signs following his operation and connections are hopeful he will return to the track next year.

Aidan O'Brien's Irish Derby winner looks set to join stablemate and last year's Epsom Derby hero in the Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown next month. Los Angeles had been a leading fancy for the St Leger at Doncaster on the same day following his tough success in the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York but, with team Ballydoyle instead eyeing a tilt at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe later in the autumn, he will instead head to Leopardstown. Los Angeles is currently a general 7/1 chance for the Irish Champion Stakes, with William Haggas' unbeaten Economics heading the market at 6/4 following his impressive comeback success.

John and Thady Gosden will be hoping for further success in tomorrow's Solario Stakes at Sandown, as Field Of Gold bids to justify favouritism. The Kingman colt, who cost €530,000 as a foal; readily justified favouritism in a maiden at the Newmarket July festival and looked a potential group performer in the making. He'll face seven rivals, including Andrew Balding's impressive debut winner Royal Playwright and Matauri Bay, who created a big impression when scoring first time out at Leicester.
