Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maidens in the opener with six of the ten racing for the first time. Experience goes on top though as (1) BEST RACE ran a solid 2nd place over this distance on debut on October 5th, racing on pace throughout and stopping the clock in a decent time. With any kind of natural improvement, he is hard to go past here. Among the debut-makers, there are a couple of standouts. (8) MR.STORM won his trial leading all the way around and if he brings that form to the races, he will be a chance. Meanwhile, (7) JISAN FORCE led for much of the way around in his trial, ultimately crossing the line 2nd in a good time. Moon Se-young's presence will ensure he has plenty of first-up supporters. (9) QUEEN DIA and (5) SEMYEONG DIA are others with experience who may improve.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
More juvenile maidens. (1) ONE PUNCH DRAGON showed on pace on debut over this distance on September 28th, ultimately finishing 3rd. It was a run full of potential and from the inside gate again, he should be on pace here with every chance of going all the way this time. (6) GEUMA FOREMOST has raced twice, finishing 5th on debut over 1000M, and then 3rd at 1200M at the end of August. He comes in fresh following eight weeks off, and he can be in this, Like One Punch Dragon, (8) GRAND KWAEMA was 3rd on debut in his case over 1200M on September 29th. He too should have come on for the run and shapes as a danger. Solitary debut maker (7) WONDERFUL FAPPY (may get a spelling alteration) dominated a trial earlier this month and if he brings that form to the races, has to be in the mix. (9) ECLIPSE THE KING has run fairly in his first two appearances and may improve.
Selections | (1) One Punch Dragon (6) Geuma Foremost (8) Grand Kwaema (7) Wonderful Fappy |

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
Maiden fillies only here and anything could win. (9) NICE BUDDY ran 2nd on debut over this distance on September 27th well beaten by a good winner but showing promise. With some natural improvement, she has as much chance as any here. (6) DREAMMA enters off the back of two consecutive 4th place finishes, both at this distance and both times sitting just behind the speed and running on. She has the fastest time among these by a considerable margin (admittedly recorded in a week when the track was racing very fast) and she can be a danger. (3) WORLD ANGEL CAT returned from over three months out to run a much-improved 2nd over 1400M on October 11th, leading for much of the way. She makes a quick return here and draws well to lead again. (10) GOLDMASK and (12) DOLPHIN KICK are others to consider.
Selections | (9) Nice Buddy (6) Dreamma (3) World Angel Cat (10) Goldmask |

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
Two standouts here. Following an inauspicious debut, (10) HANURI was a close 2nd at start number two over 1300M on September 14th, settling midfield and running on. He has the challenge of the widest gate but the slight step up in trip can suit and he can win. The danger is (8) ELDORADO HEUNGBU. He has a best of 3rd from three starts so far, having dropped back and run on each time. He should similarly benefit from the extended trip. (5) HIPPODROME is starting to get some consistency and enters off back-to-back 4th places, most recently when stepped up to this distance on June 30th. He has had seventeen weeks off since then and was lame in August, but he has been back in work since the second week of this month, and he can be competitive again here. (3) JEWELRY FASHION and (7) NEOMANEULWIHAESEO others in the frame.
Selections | (10) Hanuri (8) Eldorado Heungbu (5) Hippodrome (3) Jewelry Fashion |

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(10) COWBOY MAN came out of gate eleven over 1000M on debut on September 29th and finished off very well for a fair 6th of twelve in a race where the margins weren't big. He should have come on for that run, the step up in trip can be to his benefit, Munro stays on and he can win. (7) RIGHT CHAMP stepped up to this trip at start number two on September 27th and from a handy position, ran on to run 2nd. In this company, he can be forward early, and he can be a threat. (6) BLACK SPEED has shown progress over three starts with his latest 4th place at 1200M being his best. You Hyun-myung climbs on here and he should be aiming to get even closer. (9) HI LEGEND and (2) TEAM SURPRISE others in at least the placing frame.
Selections | (10) Cowboy Man (7) Right Champ (6) Black Speed (9) Hi Legend |

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(6) FLASH GOLD did nothing on debut but was a much-improved 2nd at start number two over 1400M on September 28th when handy throughout. Third-up he can be peaking fitness wise, and he shapes as the one to beat here. (9) USEUNG JINLI is the danger. He went through plenty of trials before debuting, which he finally did over 1200M on September 28th, settling back and running through the line well. He should have derived benefit from that run, and the step up in trip can suit. (7) POSEIDON BLUE enters off back-to-back 3rd place finishes, both at 1300M and both times finishing off well. He should be there or thereabouts again. (2) COMMAND BLUE hinted at improvement last time out and can build on her 5th place, while (4) SUPER BLUEMOON is another seemingly on the right trajectory.
Selections | (6) Flash Gold (9) Useung Jinli (7) Poseidon Blue (2) Command Blue |
Next Best | 4, 1 |

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(4) PARANG ENERGY ran out a convincing winner on debut on September 27th, leading all the way to win a filly-only maiden over this distance by as many as she pleased. She comes up in class and in distance here, but the manner of that win suggests there is more to come, and she is the one to beat. (11) WIND BULLET is also one for one having scored on debut, in his case over 1000M. The way he finished off suggests that the step up in trip won't be a problem and he can be a danger. (9) LEMON TREE had a poor trip over 1400M last time out but comes back down in distance today and staying under a li000ght weight can be a danger. (3) STRIDING MAN and the returning (1) GRAND CHASER among others in the placing frame.
Selections | (4) Parang Energy (11) Wind Bullet (9) Lemon Tree (3) Striding Man |
Next Best | 1, 8 |

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(7) TAEPYEONG LEGEND got his maiden win at start number three over 1200M on September 28th, settling just behind the speed and running on. Despite coming up in class and not getting much of a weight break, the slight step up in trip can suit, and he can win again. (3) GEOSEN YEOJE won on debut and while it took her a couple of goes to get to grips with this level, she comes in off a last start 3rd place over 1200M having overcome gate eleven. Her running style suggests the step up in trip can suit and she can match or better that finish today. (2) NAOL DAEWANG is yet to win in eighteen attempts but has no fewer than twelve top five finishes and he should be there or thereabouts again here. The wildcard is (9) MIGHTY CAP. She races for the first time since last Christmas Day but looked a very good prospect before the layoff and showed well in two recent trials. (8) MAX TANGO another minor money chance.
Selections | (7) Taepyeong Legend (3) Geosen Yeoje (2) Naol Daewang (9) Mighty Cap |

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(4) STAR FURY returns to action for the first time since June when he was 2nd at this class and distance, settling midfield, as is his style, and then running on. He has placed four times over the 1400M, and he looked well when 2nd in a trial two weeks ago. He will obviously need this but could be very interesting in this wide-open race. (6) ANOTHER ONE and (7) YEONGGWANGUI FIRST came home 1st and 2nd when they raced one another at this distance at class 5 level on September 27th. That result brings them both up in class today but in this company, both can be expected to be competitive. (11) NAEPYEON is rapidly up in class following back-to-back wins at 1200M and 1300M. He carries a light weight and can measure up. (8) HONORED KHAN among plenty of others in with a shout.
Selections | (4) Star Fury (6) Another One (7) Yeonggwangui First (11) Naepyeon |

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Fillies only here. (7) TOHOMARKET enters having been a model of consistency finishing top four in each of her last six outings. She is yet to achieve a maiden win, but she looks nicely in here having beaten a few of these on her way to 3rd place at this class and distance on September 15th. She can settle back and run on and today can be her day. Should she find one too quick again, it could be (2) CHANIGO. She too is a nine-start maiden, but she has been getting closer with every race, culminating in a 2nd place at this class over 1200M on September 28th. She has got a bit far back in her races and the step up to 1400M should be firmly in her favour. (5) SILVER MOON comes up in class having won for the first time on August 31st, leading most of the way around. She tackles the 1400M for the first time, but she comes down in the weights and can measure up in this company. (10) CLAIR GOLD and (11) GANGCHEOL YEOGEOL will be the other ones back on a place line.
Selections | (7) Tohomarket (2) Chanigo (5) Silver Moon (10) Clair Gold |
Next Best | 11, 6 |

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
Recent form is all over the place here. (4) SEKWANG CHOEGANG was a winner two starts back at this class over a mile before being tried at class 3 on October 6th over the same distance and coming from well back for a fair 5th of eleven. She returns to shallower waters today and while under more weight, can win. (1) QUEEN'S ROAD has been poor in her latest two, but she is a class and distance winner as recently as August, and from a much better gate, she can be given another chance here. After showing a lot of potential at the start of his career, (11) BACCHUS hasn't really managed to push on. He is first-up here following fifteen weeks off and may be better for the time out. The up in class but down in weight (6) SUCCESS BATTLE, along with the rapidly up in class and on a hat-trick (8) BINNANEUNGIL, are others to consider.
Selections | (4) Sekwang Choegang (1) Queen's Road (11) Bacchus (6) Success Battle |
Next Best | 8, 2 |

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(8) NAVY CAPTAIN has raced three times, finishing in 2nd on all three occasions at distances between 1000M and 1400M. He has raced on pace on each occasion and will surely do again here and at the fourth time of asking, he can salute. It isn't an especially intimidating set of opponents. (7) TRAUM QUEEN was a class and distance winner in August, and while she could only manage 4th when favourite on her return on August 17th, she comes back to 1200M today and after ten weeks off, is worth another chance. The form falls off after those two but (10) TAEKHAN returns to action for the first time since May. He won a trial in late September and if he brings that form to the races, he can go close first-up. (2) WORLD PEOPLE and (1) CHANGJOUI ACHIM others to consider for the minors.
Selections | (8) Navy Captain (7) Traum Queen (10) Taekhan (2) World People |

Busan Race 6: Class 1 (2200M) Special Weight B / KRW 110 Million
The longest distance used at Busan and rarely at that, but this is ostensibly a Grand Prix Stakes trial. (4) SO MUCH GO will be a warm favourite having won his latest two at 2000M and 1800M. He carries his fair share of weight, but he finishes his races off looking full of running and should relish the chance to go a proper distance. (7) DOCTOR FAITH finished 4th behind So Much Go over 1800M on September 29th. He is nicely weighted here and tackles the trip for the first time with the potential to be a danger. (6) CAPTAIN YANKEE mixes his form, and he had an off day when beaten by plenty of these on August 23rd. Munro climbs on this time and the extended trip may just be to his liking. (5) LANE KILLER and (1) FANTASTIC MAN other minor money hopes.
Selections | (4) So Much Go (7) Doctor Faith (6) Captain Yankee (5) Lane Killer |
Next Best | 1, 8 |

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(8) DRAGON SQUARE has been coming back into form over his latest few, most recently a 3rd place at this class over 1700M on September 14th. He carries a light weight, Johan gets on, and he can win here. He probably won't be favourite. (5) YONGAM MARENGO beat three of these on his way to 3rd place at class and distance on September 29th, racing on pace throughout. That followed a 2nd place over a mile in August when he similarly led. He carries his fair share of weight today, but he should be in the mix. There are no weight concerns over (10) THORUI MANGCHI as he benefits from a 4kg claim. That gives him a big swing from when he finished 4th behind Yongam Marengo in that September 29th race, and he is already a winner at this class having scored over a mile in August. (4) VISION POWER and (7) K N TIZWON others in the hunt.
Selections | (8) Dragon Square (5) Yongam Marengo (10) Thorui Mangchi (4) Vision Power |

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
Fillies and mares only here. (1) SEOBU TEUKSONG enters having won her latest two, most recently at this class and distance on September 29th when racing handy throughout and running away to win comfortably. She comes up a full 4kg in the weights, but that's balanced somewhat by drawing the inside gate, and she can complete her hat-trick today. (11) ULTRA HIT won back-to-back races in July and August to get rapidly promoted to this level, before running a fair 5th of eleven on his class 4 bow on September 28th over 1200M. She steps up to 1400M for the first time and it may suit. (3) LOVE COWGIRL comes in off a class and distance 3rd place a month ago having led. She stays under a light weight and draws well to be on pace and in this a long way. The wildcard is (4) DIANA. She races for the first time since winning at class 5 level over 1200M in June, but she looked well in a trial two weeks ago and may make some appeal first-up at an each-way price. Up in class (5) HOMYEONG QUEEN another to look out for.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
(2) MIRACLE HANGANG will be the warm favourite. He's made six starts since his latest win, but he has been close on several occasions, including last time out on September 15th when he was 2nd at this class and distance, settling midfield and running on. He comes up 2kg in the weights, but in this company, he will be expected to go one better. (8) HIGH RUNNER was 4th behind Miracle Hangang in that September 15th race. He likes to settle back and run on and can be a danger late here. (3) NINE EAGLE can be forgiven his last start 7th as it was in a very tough trophy race on international weekend, and he even finished ahead of a couple of today's rivals. Prior to that he was in good form and should be there or thereabouts again. The form drops off after those three with (9) RAON THE QUALITY and (4) MAGIC JUNIOR, perhaps the best of the rest.
Selections | (2) Miracle Hangang (8) High Runner (3) Nine Eagle (9) Raon The Quality |
Next Best | 4, 1 |

Seoul Race 11: Class 1 (2300M) Special Weight B) / KRW 110 Million
A rare use of the Grand Prix Stakes distance and this is essentially a trial for the final G1 of the season, which will be held on December 1st. (3) AMERICA GOLD is a winner of four from six including his latest three, with the most recent coming over 2000M at class 2 level on September 14th. The Preservationist colt steps up into Class 1 company for the first time and the extended trip can suit. He is an exciting prospect. (7) MIGHTY NEW enters with recent form reading well, most recently beating a couple of these when 3rd over 2000M on September 29th and he can be a danger. (5) CHIEF INDY is the only one to have won over the distance having done so in February this year. His recent form has been cold but back over the extended trip, he shouldn't be discounted. (6) YONGAM BOSS and (2) HIDDEN SOCKS the other place chances.
