The G1 Prix de Paris Marathon Race (4150m) is one of the longest trotting races in France and is the final leg of the Triple Crown. Bélina Josselyn was the last horse to complete the G1 Prix d'Amérique Legend Race (2700m) and G1 Prix de Paris Marathon Race (4150m) double. Will it be achieved this year? We preview the event...

Ampia Mede Sm

Highly-talented six-year-old mare who showed plenty of ability in Italy before continuing the solid form with a very successful Vincennes Winter Meeting this season securing four wins (three at Group level) from past five outings. She enjoys running barefoot and holds seven victories from nine starts without shoes. Include.

Decoloration

Nine-year-old mare, Decoloration brings a fair record without shoes. Ran well finishing behind Ampia Mede Sm at this venue when third in a Class A autostart two weeks ago whilst posting a personal best kilometre rating. The daughter of Prince d'Espace holds claims if showing best form.

Calle Crown

Maintains good form with a strong fifth only beaten just over three lengths in the autostart G3 Prix du Luxembourg (2100m) here at the end of last month before a runner-up effort behind Ampia Mede Sm at this venue two weeks back. The eight-year-old son of Great Challenger makes a first attempt over this marathon trip so may take another step forward. Interesting candidate.

Fric du Chene

Has not made the frame in his last six starts and is winless at this course. Ran with credit in the same autostart behind Ampia Mede Sm when fifth. Minor role likely.

Falcao de Laurma

Arrives in moderate form including a DQ in the G3 Prix de Brest (2850m) at this track a month ago. However, the seven-year-old son of Uniclove holds a fair profile at this course. Likely to need more.

Fakir du Lorault

One of many who make a first attempt over this distance but posted a fair sixth only beaten five lengths in the autostart G1 Prix de France Speed Race (2100m) a fortnight ago here. Runs barefoot and has a solid personal best kilometre rating of 1'09''7. Place likely best.

Galius

Promising six-year-old son of Love You who has recorded four placings and two wins from six barefoot runs. Providing excellent form during this campaign including a nose second defeat tackling the G1 Prix d'Amérique Legend Race (2700m) a month ago at this venue. If replicating that level of form could make for plenty of appeal.

Freeman de Houelle

Highly talented mounted performer who has secured a top driver currently in great form. This seven-year-old found success in the mounted G1 Prix de l'Ile-De-France (2175m) at the start of this month two outings back. Went well when second here since in the G3 Prix du Pontavice de Heussey (2175m) last week however the driven discipline is a slight concern.

Diable de Vauvert

Arrives in mixed form with a seasonal best effort coming two starts ago when runner-up in the G2 Prix d'Amerique Races Q6 (2850m). The nine-year-old son of Prince d'Espace has a fair record without shoes and at this track. He ran a good second in this race last year and is worth a second look.

Gu d'Heripre

The six-year-old son of Coktail Jet has struggled during this Vincennes Winter Meeting. However, he has a strong course profile of six placings and ten victories from twenty attempts here. Each-way hope if at best.

Chica de Joudes

Likely to finish midfield once again after a sixth (beaten four and half lengths) in the G1 Prix d'Amérique Legend Race (2700m) a month ago before a five and half-length seventh tackling the autostart G1 Prix de France Speed Race (2100m). Further improvement required.

Etonnant

Last year's winner of the event could follow up and rates a serious player despite mixed recent efforts. The eight-year-old son of Timoko beat the top-class Face Time Bourbon when successful here in December tackling the G2 Prix d'Amerique Races Q2 (2850m). Leading contender to return to the winner's enclosure.

Flamme du Goutier

The seven-year-old daughter of Ready Cash has shown plenty of ability this season at the Vincennes Winter Meeting including winning the mounted G1 Prix de Cornulier (2700m) in January. She ran a solid third behind Davidson du Pont in the G1 Prix d'Amérique Legend Race (2700m) two runs ago. Holds claims with the yard in good form.

Davidson du Pont

After multiple placings, he found success in the G1 Prix d'Amérique Legend Race (2700m) by a nose. Finished only ninth in the G1 Prix de France Speed Race (2100m) two weeks back but the nine-year-old son of Pacha du Pont holds a promising record in this shoeing combination. Not to be dismissed.

Winner - Etonnant

Each-way - Ampia Mede Sm
