Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Monday’s meeting at Goulburn.

Magic Missile (Race 2) has been backed into the red at $1.75, more than half a point shorter than his opening quote this morning. He was midfield on debut at Newcastle but is expected to improve plenty with experience and dropping to country grade.

Le Dejeuner (Race 4) has halved her opening quote and is now second pick in the market at $4.80. The filly struggled on heavy going last time but had won on a good track first up so could improve with firmer footing.

Attainment (Race 5) opened well into double figures but steady support has seen him firm more than eight points to $4.60. He resumes after running in some strong races last campaign and should be ready to go fresh after winning a recent trial.
