Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Thursday’s meeting at Gosford.

Twinhit (Race 5) is now second favourite at $3.60 after firming more than four points in early betting. The three-year-old daughter of Shrapnel is on debut for Greg Mcfarlane and has been runner up in both of her trial sat this course.

Blackmaker (Race 6) is the one punters have wanted to back and he is in to an odds on quote at $1.60, 40 cents shorter than his opening quote. The Waterhouse-Bott gelding should be at peak fitness third up having placed at both run so far this campaign.
