Haradasun is enjoying a rush of wins by three exciting prospects capped by the success of his three year-old filly My Shabella at Doomben on Saturday.
The Bruce Hill trained My Shabella (Haradasun x Risky Banter, by Rory’s Jester) is in rare form having won three of her past four starts.
Retained to race by her breeder, My Shabella has won four races and placed four times from 10 starts.
She is one of six winners including G3 placed Leapfrog from Risky Banter, a full sister to stakes-winners Real Jester and Seidnazar.
My Shabella's success followed exciting wins by Prince Harada at Ballarat) and Runhardasun at Canterbury for the former champion three year-old Haradasun.
Prince Harada (Haradasun x Potential Princess, by Elusive Quality) scored a stylish debut win at Ballarat and is being talked up by his trainer Tony Vasil as GI Caulfield Guineas hope in the spring.
Vasil prepared Haradasun to win the GI Doncaster Handicap and G1 George Ryder Stakes before his sale to Coolmore and subsequent triumph at Royal Ascot in the GI Queen Anne Stakes.
Retained to race by his breeders, Prince Harada is the first foal of Potential Princess, who was a $300,000 Inglis Easter yearling purchase but raced just once before retiring to stud.
A daughter of Elusive Quality, Potential Princess is a sister to stakes-placed Elusive King from the family of Group winner Pure Theatre.
