A share in the young Newgate Farm sire among early supplementaries
A share in Newgate Farm's young sire Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt) is one among the first supplementary lots for next month's Inglis Chairman's Sale.
Champion first season sire last year, Extreme Choice produced a Golden Slipper (Gr 1, 1200m) winner - Stay Inside - in his first crop and his stakes winners include Tiger Of Malay, Extreme Warrior, She's Extreme, Espiona, Extreme Flight and Xtremetime and his stakes winners to runners strike rate is running at a huge 18.4 per cent. At the yearling sales in 2022, his progeny have sold for up to $825,000.
"By every metric, he's the best young stallion in the Southern Hemisphere,'' Newgate's Henry Field said.
"To have had four Group 1 performers – including a Golden Slipper winner in Stay Inside – already from such a small number of horses to race is really quite extraordinary.''
In addition to the share in the sire, Helix Park (Nicconi) is another supplementary lot and she is being offered in foal to Extreme Choice.
"There have been some fantastic additions to the catalogue already and we are very fortunate to offer breeders great opportunities to be part of the extraordinary Extreme Choice success story,'' Inglis' Senior Bloodstock Consultant Harry Bailey said.
"We're absolutely delighted with how the Chairman's catalogue has come together and with just over a week remaining for supplementary entries to be accepted, now is the time for participants with elite race fillies and broodmares to get in touch to be part of what is a special evening of auction theatre.''
Supplementary entries for the Chairman's Sale will remain open until Friday April 22.
